Woven from organically processed bluefaced leicester wool from the Yorkshire Dales. The wool was collected from local farmers, sorted by Laura and sent to Lightowlers Spinners in Yorkshire to be spun. The blanket was woven at Drove Weaving in Langholm and finished at Schofields in Galashiels. Final preparation was carried out by Laura at Farfield Mill and the satin border was sewn by Liz. Your purchase helps to support hill farmers living and working in the Dales and celebrates the high quality of British wool.
